Jackass star Johnny Knoxville was cited at Los Angelas International Airport on Thursday for allegedly trying to bring an inert grenade onto a plane.

The Jackass allegedly had the grenade in his carry-on bag and was noticed by a screener as Knoxville was about to board and American Airlines flight, according to officials.

Authorities at LAX detained Knoxville and issued a citation for attempting to bring a “prohibited” item on a plane, as replicas of weapons are strictly and obviously prohibited.
