Jennifer Hudson is set to make her return to the spotlight by singing at the Super Bowl following the slayings of her mother, brother, and 7-year-old-nephew.

Hudson has yet to make a public appearance since the murders of her family members in Chicago in October. Hudson’s estranged brother-in-law is charged with the killings.

Shortly before the killings, Hudson had released her self-titled debut album. The 27-year-old Hudson has already been awarded an Oscar for best supporting actress for her role in “Dreamgirls.”
